This week’s picks, due to time constraints yet again, very quickly:

 JAGUARS (-10.5) over Panthers

COWBOYS (-10.5) over Lions

Dolphins (+7) over BILLS: Look for a heartbreaker to send Miami  to 0-13.

Giants (+3) over EAGLES

PACKERS (-10.5)  over Raiders

PATRIOTS (-10.5) over Steelers: Yes, it seems like the Patriots may be exposed as not having a running game and a softer defense than we all once believed. Just in time for them to cover a double digit line over a pretty good team, I suspect.

TITANS (pk) over Chargers: Yes, not buying that the Chargers suddenly have it together either.

Rams (+9.5) over BENGALS

Buccaneers (-3) over TEXANS

Cardinals (+7) over SEAHAWKS

49ERS (+8.5) over Vikings: Yes, my unoffcial theme this weekend seems to be, “be wary of the bandwagon.”

Browns (-3.5) over JETS

BRONCOS (-7) over Chiefs

Colts (-9) over RAVENS: The Ravens shot their wad last week, I suspect.

FALCONS (+3.5) over Saints: Throw the records out when these two rivals get together. Really, it’s for the best.

Best Bets: Cardinals, Buccaneers, Colts
