Encyclical, it’s not April. It’s October. There’s no room for slumps in October. Whatever the reason, he’s gotten lit up ever since he joined the Red Sox and they should not be sending him in with the game on the line. Julian Tavarez would have been a better use of that roster spot. It’s sad, but eventually, everyone gets old.

Hate to say it, but if we go to extra innings again, expect to see Gagne. tito and management have a hard on for this guy despite numerous failures. Never thought I’d say this but Tavarez should be on the ALCS roster instead of gagne
